during class, someoen decides to throw something at him (rubber ball) and my teacher tells him that thats assault and he has the right to hit him back, and he has done it before. he goes on cursing and telling us not to f--- with him, and that he doesnt care who our f---ing mother or father is. he also then threatens us all by saying to watch our backs when we leave the class. ive heard rumors that hes suppose to be fired a year ago, and that according to what he said, it's only a four year suspension when he does it. what should we do?

If it bothers you, report it to the school board, and he should get removed.

Wow, that teacher needs to be reported and so does the kid that threw the rubber ball.

Both are way out of line here.

No teacher should ever use cursing in class or threaten a student that he will hit them back.

Tell your parents and also report the kid who threw the ball to the office. You parents need to get together and contact the principal for a group meeting on this guy. A suspension? Never heard of that, when a teacher is this out of line, it's the ax.

You can report the incident to the principle, and he will be dealt with accordingly, but don't expect anything to happen unless multiple students come forward. Realistically he will most likely end up having to apologize to the class.

The same laws that apply to you in the real world apply to him as well. He can legally defend himself from an assault with force, but striking a student after having a ball thrown at them isn't self defense unless that student is continually throwing objects.

Nothing should happen to a teacher for threatening a student who started the mess. One of the things that is absolutely wrong with your generation is the lack of discipline. Many parents believe that they can reason with a child instead of giving them a good wallop to get their attention. One cannot reason with dummies. We are inundated with too many right now. So quit being infantiles. Grow up a little.

It's time to out-fox the fox.
This is what I would do:
Tape record one of his tantrums.
Make a copy, hide the original, for future proof that you did not tamper with it.
Either play it for your parents or:
mail a copy of it to each of the folowing:
the school board
the police department
the mayor
the newspaper, local tv & radio stations
If he's doing this in your class, he's doing it in other classes.
He's thinks he's smart and that no one has the nerve to stand up to him (a bully, disguised as an adult).
Bring him down quick or he will continue his reign of terror!
