can u play music that is saved on your ps3 while playing a video game and say i have an ethernet cable hooked up to my modem can i go on the internet on a ps3 while my computer is off but my modem is on

Yes to the Connection to Internet

The connection to the internet is dictated by the modem NOT the PC

1). No. I hope, that Sony will include this function into the next update. It's one of the most wanted functions on PS3;
