My daughter turned one a few weeks ago, she eats everything. Just cut up whatever you make for dinner into small bites and let him have at it.

I have 2 kids they are 3 and 4. With my first one i wa afarid to feed him table food because of choking but with my second she was eatting table food at like 8 months. I agree with the people that said just feed him what you guys are haiving. Cut it up real small and away you go. Also with like hot dog s and what not they say not to give kids them because of choking. Well if you cut a hot dog in half the long way and then in hale again the long way is it still round? Nope then cut into little peices. You can also peel the skin on the hotdog you thin he is ready to try to chew through the skin. That what i did with my first. I hope i helped.

you can give him whatever he will eat except honey that is the only thing you should not give a child before 1yr old. if he will eat meat just cut it up in little bit size pieces. I hv 3 girls age 9,7 and 4 all of them have eaten differently. My oldest loved her baby food, but would not eat the stage 3 she didn't like the chunks. my middle daughter did not like baby food at all and she ate everything we would eat, spag, mashed potatos, veg., fruit and the meat. My youngest liked both table food and baby food.

I give my son everything to eat since he turned 12 months. Just cut it up small enough for him. Give him ground meat and chicken just grill some.

My daughter was about 11 months old and stopped eating baby food. She would just eat what we did. I just cut it up for her. I just didn't give her stuff I knew could cause her to choke.

pasta , cheese and if he has enough teeth try a small sandwich with lunch meat and as far as dinner you could give him half a hamburger or let him try whatever you eat if it is not to spicy .

I would ask your doctor for him. My nephew wasn't eating either, and they had my sister n law start him with certain things. If you are worried I would go to the doctor and ask them or call them. My nephew is now used to food because they helped him!♥♥
Hope I helped!

we give our son whatever we are eating..it is easier..and also good because he feels involved..if we give him something..and we eat something else..he wants to try what we are eating.

he has eaten meat..and he is still alive..so meat is not bad for your child at all..it has nutritions and helps with iron.

just make sure you dont put to many spices on them.

good luck

you've gotten good advise already about what to feed your son so I will just comment on the meat issue. if you don't want to feed him meat then feed him beans. they are high in protein. cut them in half if they need it.

sandwiches are great, as well as little finger foods like cooked pasta, pieces of cooked vegies (carrot, broccoli, sweet potato, potato, peas etc etc), cheese. i just try and keep it simple and avoid processed foods. my daughter is now 21 months and eats almost whatever we have.
