Every week i try to photograph something different , and this week , I am trying to do abstract images, What do you think ?

Anything can be considered "abstract" when you think about it. Thats part of the beauty of art. It's all about interpretation.
To me, they just seem slightly Photoshopped. ( which could mean the artist is making adjustments to provoke a stronger reaction. ) For me to consider something abstract, the image would have to really provoke an opinion that isnt obvious; that stems from a deeper place.

Having compared them to some images on the web that claim to be abstract then yes I'd say they certainly are abstract. Though the term abstract is somewhat subjective, one might even say it is used abstractly.

No, they are representational. Abstract would be basic shapes or patterns, something that is not of a recognizable object, or a detail of something. They do look pretty cool tho.

Nice work on the capture and coloring on the first one, it's definitely my favorite of the two.

Yes they are abstract almost, the second image i would prefer without the leaf. maybe its just me.
