Both of my cats are passing their colds back and forth to each other. My little 6 month old one has it BAD!! Sneezing, choking, gagging, sinus pressure, etc. It's breaking our hearts to see her like this. Our Vet gave us medicine for them both but little Gemma keeps getting sick and sicker. Does anyone know any HOME Remedies to make this get better before it gets WORSE?

You need to call the vet and tell them what is going on!!! You may need another medication, so there might be something else they can offer if it is a virus.

CALL THE VET!!!!!

Ok, try warm towels when they lie down for rest wipe it over there noses a couple of times, be sure to keep their eyes clear of any mucus build up or anything like that. I know that sounds like something you would do for a human but it does work. If they are getting sick from each other then you may want to seclud them from one another so they don't anymore. Try these for a little while and see if they don't improve.

Listen to Philip B....a "cold" can start out as something very simple and become something very serious...it can even lead to death.

Make sure that your cats are eating! If they stop eating for even a few days, that can be a death sentence.

What kind of medicine has the vet given you, so far?

It sounds to me like MORE than a "cold" I'm sorry to say... :(

Pneumonia, upper respiratory tract infection (ANY colored mucous?) etc....

Tell your vet what's going on (and if he/she knows about the situation, but hasn't figured it out already, FIND ANOTHER VET, NOW!!)

Does the one cat seem to be allergically reacting to his/her medicine? Even if they were born in the same litter, they can be allergic to different things (just like humans)

I would strongly recommend that you consult your veterinarian about this. Good Luck
