what exactly do you mean by it? What is it about that guy that makes them seem "brotherly"?
I had a girl tell me that she thought of me as a brother and I guess it made me curious.

to tell a guy you think of them as a brother its like saying she loves you as a brother and you guys have a close firendship but mainly she saying she can never see you guys together you more a friend to her and she loves you as a freind.. about your question what makes them seem brotherly it can come in different ways for me theres just certain guys that are just freinds with you and you love there company and love talkng to them but only as a brother i could neevr see myself with them.. but trust me its not a bad thing when a girl says that unless you like them it measn they feel so comfortable with you and protected when your around.. does that answer your question?

dont take this the wrong way, but she is probably not into you like a gf bf relationship. But it does mean that she thinks you are a great person and she trusts you. Dont think that since brothers can be annoying that you are, it just means since your a guy she thinks of you as a family member, brother

She doesn't like you like you. She thinks of you as someone that will be there for you like a brother and help you out like that. I guess really good friend would work to. She just doesn't have any attraction to you. Just as a friend

That means that there is no chance in Hell that she would ever go out with you or be your girlfriend. It's another way of telling a guy we should just be friends.

She looks up to you, she cares about you/loves you but like a brother, not a boyfriend-type way, she looks out for you and hopes you'll do the same for her...
Or she's scared that you may like her and she doesn't return your feelings so she doesn't want to encourage you.

That there is a lot of love and trust there, but just not in the romantic sense. She loves you like family, and hopes that you will always be around.

you're fun and interesting to be around, but there's no attraction maybe.
although i've heard a lot of guys say that they think of girls as "their sister", then in a few weeks they're dating, so meh...who knows?

She's either just saying she feels really close to you as a friend, or a nice way of saying you have no chance of going out with her.

No, it means she thinks of you as a really cool close friend but not sexually.. Shes giving you a hint, dude... To me, that's cool because she's saying she still likes you a WHOLE LOt but not outside of a best friend type way.
