Someone who can't be without it or they flip out. The drug has taken over their life nothing else matters to them but the meth. They may sleep a little after being up for days but they gotta have it when they open their eyes, it's a a twhacked back tweeker is what they are.

the term has been used in both ways but usually when referring to a meth monster it is somebody who is hooked on the drug and will do anything to get it

When someone is THAT addicted to meth, there will be other signs (whereas if someone is, say, hallucinating from sleep deprivation, they won't)--those signs include intense agitation/nervousness/talkativeness, being very skinny (basically emaciated), may have sores on their face/mouth, dilated pupils, dry/itchy skin, and messed up (ie. falling out/rotting) teeth.
