Mitsubishi Lancer hands down. It has more mystique than a Subaru.

I would go with the mitsubishi lancer Evo 8 because I belive it to have more style than the impreza. Eventhough the impreza has more power.

Subaru Impreza is an excellent performance and handling with modest running costs, Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 8 is an entry-level performance cars, and leave drivers feeling a bit short-changed. I will like Subaru Impreza more.

i workd for mitcubishi and owned an impreza.. i bought the WRX, not the sti, because i felt that it was more comfortable for everyday driving and the other 2 ,evo and sti, were much more then i wanted to spend. I have driven both, since ive been working in dealerships for about 5 years and have to say if you are looking for performance then go with the evo.
The evo def has better handling and the rear winsheild wiper is a def plus. Enjoy!
