My cousin wants to find out information about her dad, who died when she was 5, she doesn't know anything about him, except for his name. She is now 33.
She gets different stories from the family about were he's buried.
How would she go about getting information.

already googled it and like a billion things pop up.

He didn't sign her birth certificate because he was out of the country, tried ancestry.com and no matches were found.

And her mother and father were never married, so she has a different last name then him. he was born in el salvador, but died in the united states, either in california, indiana, or new york.

Start: Her birth Certificate he signed it his full name should be on it. Her mother's marriage license if that's still around. If her last name is his last name, She now has a full name.

If she is SURE it happened when she was 5 , take her birthyear + 5 and you have his death year. You can check online Obituaries or go to a public library that may have newspapers of that year with obituaries. They would/might list where he's buried. Try to contact HIS side of the family.

Thats easy. Depending what your looking for. Go to white pages.com and there you can do reverse phone lookups this wouuld be to get aname and address or you can enter the number and get the same etc. If you want to find out personnal stuff. Theres links there that will get you what you want but you'll have to pay for them. Thats not free and thank God for that.

perhaps she could request the information from the town administration, where he used to live?
