Maybe after you have so gallantly brought Iraq democracy and freedom you could then invade Ethiopia and bring them some food and medical supplies. Oh hangon - Their would be no economic gain in it. Silly me sorry for MY ignorance.
Hail to your clown and chief

Dropping the supplies seems to be fixing the problem? Yes. I mean actually going in their balls and all. Really makeing an impact. Logic does not seem to prevail with some people.

I agree with "Mike B", (Thank you Mike for a great answer and your service) because most Americans today (actually since the 60's) throw in the towel when the being in the ring gets to hard for them. Yes! I know wars make people richer with money (they never do get richer in brain power...History proves that.) but fighting for freedom is something where no amount of economic gain for the few can compare with the individuals rights that God gave a person! (Ooops!.... I said "God.") Believe it or not, my disgruntled American, there are even yet today a vast majority of the human race that doesn't know what freedom is. If you haven't tasted the food....how do you know if its edible? Remember the Jews and others released from the death camps? They didn't know what the hell to do when they were set free! It, freedom, had become a dim memory. I did my bit a life time ago for the same thing that Mike's doing now. That's the sad part about being an intelligent human being within the human race....you never learn. I know that this is an old cliche but it's a whole lot better to stop aggression over there than it is here. The American people as they are at the present couldn't handle it at first but would overcome and adapt. (The real American old timers did that in WW2) About our CinC... I'm not a Bush fan either but then I was'nt a Johnson, Nixon, Ford, or Reagan fan either but those men were my Commander and Chiefs elected by the supposedly vast majority to include people like you. I went to war for America, its beliefs, its people, and for all of the other people of this world that roll over and play dead at the slightest hint of mad and crazy ideologies and men. Some Americans just can't stand seeing people being subjected to some things that they should'nt have to. (The civil war in Spain before WW2, France and England before we arrived in 1917 for example) Personally, I wouldn't want to be in Bushes' shoes or any high ranking military leaders shoes because no matter what you do...you're going to be damned if you do or damned if you don't. Finally, like Mike, I really need to ask this of you.... what did you feel when 9-11 happened here in America? Were you scared and wondered how could this happen? Did you ask yourself or others,"Where was our military, who are supposed to be protecting our country, at?" I'll tell you...keeping a low profile so as not to offend the minority of the politically correct ass-holes that our government tries to appease instead of looking like the bad-asses. They, the terrorists, started it and I truly pray that we end it by any means possible. Of course it couldn't be done in absolute violence exemplifying the murder, rape, torture, pillage, and destruction of a war fought to be won.... because then people like you would ***** about that! Thank God for the GOOD ( we do for mankind) the BAD ( we do to protect mankind) to stop the UGLY (of mankind). Peace in Christ and in our time! Yours truly, Sarge!

Well I personally believe we are still fighting for our freedom & have been winning for some time now since we are not forced to live in britain, dont speak Germen, or Japanese & have not had the rest of the United states blown up since 911.
Do you have any idea on earth what it's like to leave your family for half a year at a time over the course of several years while your children are growing up so that other people in that other country can not be fought but be given the oportunities we have?? So they can see you do the right thing. Do you have any idea the good things that are happening over there as well?? The news does not dwell on that & apparently you are not willing to look for that either. So glad you have your freedom to stick your head in your armpit instead of going to make that difference your judging everyone else for not doing what you think should be done.... at least we are trying to do something.. you are just complaining.

Last time I checked we have not had another 911 event since we started taking it the terrorists. There are Soldiers serving in Ethiopia and other African Countries giving medical supplies and food. We are not in Iraq and Afghanistan for gain, last i checked the War on terror is far to expensive to say we are making money off there oil witch oh bye the way, we do not touch. You had it right when you said "Silly me" and "Ignorance". You hit the nail on the head right there!

Why do some Americans (or just some random dumb *sses from another country) believe that their opinions mean anything to anybody?

Instead of b*tching about everything, why don't you create an orginization to help out your buddies in Ethiopia?

Some people fight for freedom...some people fight because they have to....others fight to kill morons like you.

We aren't in Iraq just for economic gain, and we aren't the only country that will gain something from their economy....thus the reason for other countires also "invading" iraq.

Get over yourself. You aren't that intelligent....

Oh I dont know, maybe they stopped a little girl from being raped, stopped a woman from being hung for looking a man in the eyes, took a leader out of power that killed people for no reason at all... you can not say if they are doing anyone a favor or not unless you see it first hand and my guess is your tree huggin' self has NOT been to Iraq... AND just FYI, the US Military does humanitarian missions as well to countries all over the world... your theory is busted... dont talk about sh*t you dont know about!

Actually we do have personnel in Ethiopia and other regions of Africa on humanitarian missions bringing food and medical supplies to the region. However, there is no good story with lots of death and violence there so the media doesn't report on it.

Way to look like a dumbass.

For some reason some people in other countries tend to despise the U.S., but yet expect us to take care of all other countries whose people cannot take care of themselves! What makes you think it is our responsibility...And if we didnt keep our military trained and instill patriotism into our citizens, we would cease to be free because of many idiots in other countries who hate Americans just because they are born on a different continent and a country called the United States of America. God Bless the wonderful service men and women who defend my country and keep me safe! Thank YOU!

Go to Iran, Sudan,or Saudi Arabia and insult islam. See how long your head stays attached. You have been badly fooled by hate filled people who try to demonize the people who are protecting your right to ask this contemptible question, and whether you are intelligent enough to see it or not, you are helping spread tyranny by opposing those who are trying to spread the freedom you don't properly appreciate.

yes, people can always be deceived by their governments and Mass media. But when you think about it... everything is relative. What may be freedom to another country might be oppression in another....
