When my husband had Bells Palsy we thought he was having a stroke because it affected the left side of his face. We kept a hot cloth on it to try and relax the face muscles. This happened to him about 5 months ago, it took approx. a month for his face to go back to normal; however, his face still feels funny at times. The doctor prescribed him some eye drops but i believe that a bottle of "tears" would work just as good. Also, be sure to tape your shut at night.

I used warm compresses on my eye when I had it. I also was given some pretty strong pain medicine as well. How long have you had it? Are you takin any meds for it?

I also still have a slight droop on my right eye.
