Im having a problem find a good picture and I was hoping someone can tell me their settings so I can get an idea of somewhat optimal settings.

Get a copy of "Avia" or "Digital Video Essentials". These setup DVD's have test patterns and tutorials to help you adjust your TV for your DVD player and electronics.
