I want to go to london or Paris this summer instead of our usual trip to Virgina Beach, My dad is considering it but my mom is saying no. Ive tried saying EVERYTHING i can think of and i want to go like sooo bad. Please give me things to say to get them to take me. I dont think the money is a problem, my mom&dad are scared it will get bombed or something. Give me ideas!! thanks so much!

Im not trying to get your hopes up , but if yoru asking them to take you during some time when your not out of school for break of something , theres honestly no possible way. But one good idea is that over the summer when your parents are planning out your guys vacation, you should say " Mom , Dad i have a great idea! I have always dreamed of going to europe and i have been wanting to go there for ever! I would be devistated if i never got to visit Europe once before i died... GOing there would be the best time of my life, and would make me realize how lucky i/we are to have this brilliant chance of a lifetime! I wont ask for anything for my birthday/ or christmas, i promise. This will also be a great learing expierice for all of us! We do not have to stay in a 5 star hotel, we can stay at the cheapest place we can find, and the best deals on stuff such as airplane tickets! Also we dont need to eat out at expensive restraunts everyday. We can go to a market/grocery store and buy some bread, chips, etc.. or bring some food from home and store it in are luggage! Oh please mom and Dad this will be the best expereice of a life time and i will even do an extra credit project on it for class and write about museuems, sights, etc.. I love you guys so much, and i would love to start spending more quality time with the both of you , and this will give us some quality bonding time together as a family unit. We can visit fun places such as : Museuems, Sight seeing, London, etc.. This is a dream i have always had and allways will have. and if you could make it come true that would be the best wish of a life time! thank you so much i love you guys your the best parents anyone could ever ask for. i love you"
tell them somethime liek that then they wil lbe like "HUnny, i think this could maybe be a great chance of a life time, teh way she put it, etc..." and it will go on and on from there

Paris is WONDERFUL!! London is FAB!! Tell them you want to broaden your horizons and you already know everything there is to know abut Virginia Beach. You are ready to move on and learn everything about Paris and London.
FYI - I go to Paris frequently. It is just as safe there as it is here. If not more so.

make a powerpoint presentation listing reasons why it expands your horizons, history, learning, new experience beneficial in every aspect
also..about the whole bombing thing...explain that they have such tight security there....the intelligence agencies there are on top of everything and you can take a case where in london they stopped one of the bombings before it happened

ask your friend, who your mom cannot stand, to tell them that he is going to Virginia Beach. start spending more time with him and plan to do things together during the summer. that should help changing her mood.

gewt good grades, behave, and get a part time job, so you can contribute a few hundred toward the bill. European vacation for a family is expensive.
