What is the difference between a microdermabrasion cloth and a regular wash cloth?

A microdermabrasion cloth is something like super extra-fine sandpaper. It removes some of the outer skin cells. A regular terry washcloth would probably have the same effect because of its nubby quality. Don't spend a ton of money on something that's probably not worth it.
