I would and I have.

I'm Jewish and have been on the receiving end of racism. It's horrible. I have stood up for Muslims and fellow Jews both on this site, and in real life. I have also opposed people expressing anti-black sentiment.

Racism of any kind is appalling.

I have stood up for a religion against an atheist in fact. And I'm an atheist. For me it has nothing to do with the religion but the person. If the only thing someone says "I believe" what can you possibly say? No you don't? Life is way too short to be bothered by what someone else believes.

Honestly I don't think the rational people here have any issue with the other rational people regardless of what they believe.

To "stupidity rules" I'm going to look back through my posts and dig out the ones where I was telling people enough already with the stupid teddy bear posts. I've been to a few countries that are predominantly Islamic and I think a lot of people would be surprised how nice they are.

I would stand up for another religion's right to exist, and the right of people to practice that religion, and I hope those people would stand up for my right to practice the religion of my choice. It's similar to doing to others what I would want others to do to me.

I wouldn't stand up for another religion's beliefs unless I happened to believe them, too.

Of course, the right to practice one's religion does not include the right to harm other people.

Yes, I respect everyone's religons beliefs and would stand up for them. I also respect the Atheists, even though I believe that there is a god.
I'm not sure most of them would stand up for me though seeing that I'm muslim =/

Absolutely.

There are many people here that I may not agree with spiritually, but I still respect them very much and would defend them and their right to believe what they believe.

Yes - I have done, and would do again, and I have very devout people of other faiths stand up for mine!

Honestly it would depend on the religion.

I would stand up for its right to exist but not for what it teaches.

It would depend on the religion and whether or not I think it's evil or stupid.
