Try a different flat iron like a ceramic. Also theres this little bottle called BIOSILK. You can get it at the beauty supply store and I think Target and Walmart carry it. Its a little expensive, 12 dollars maybe but it is worth is. just a dime size does u wonders!

it depends, i used to have nightmares situations with my hair frizzing up, and becoming static.
i concentrated on conditioning the tips of my hair, started using a heat protection spray, to protect my hair from my straighteners, then i'd spray hair spray onto my hands and finger comb my hair smoothing it down.
ive never suffered with frizzy hair since

use this product called biosilk after u straighten ur hair. its a hair toner and it leaves your hair shiny, silky, and smelling good. i've used it for about four years now- u can get it at any local drug store

LEE STAFFORD....poker straight....its bright pink....its from boots and it is a gift from the gods i dont go anywhere without it. (Better than frizz ease!) does exactly what it says on the tin

use herbalessences shampoo and conditiner and leave is cream and your hair well be beautiful. and you well still be able to starighten it.
