I had this dream last night, I was stranded in the mountains, and I had two ways to go back to civilization.
The first way is climb up a super high cliff to reach a highway and hitchhike, the second way is to go through the forest filled with bears and other predators. i chose the cliff, and climbed. when i got to the top, there was a bear there.
what does this mean?

In my opinion..
bear = fear
you took the longer path (and steeper) meaning can be time consuming or more risk but.... without going the other direction because of fear.
fear can come in different forms like commitment or responsibility, ect.

Sorry, but I had to laugh that you went up that cliff to avoid the bears, and wound up meeting one anyway:)
It sounds as though you have been having some form of struggle in order to find yourself on the correct path for your life, choices needed to be made, and having come through the struggle have reached some of your goals, but are now on your way to a period of introspection before you can go further... Perhaps a period of rest is needed to review where you have been in order to digest the choices you've made and make further plans to take you in the right direction for the long run....... (the bear is a creature representing introspection, it spends the summer living it's life, then takes time off to hibernate in the winter...)

I feel (but do not KNOW) that the predators are like the people who surround you on a daily basis, that they have the potential to harm you. You have some degree of fear concerning each of them.
In ascending the cliff as an option you choose, you wish to distance yourself from those who would harm you, and when you attempt that, you're met with yet another scary obstacle.
There's no practical way to escape ALL people - those whom I'm equating with predators.

In order to get through stuggle you must confront it. Thats probably the message. In the end if u confront it you will end up in civilization.
If you run from it then your problems will end up where you least expect it.
Trust in God completly and have faith while confronting your problems.
