Just curious. Liberals keep saying that there is an imaginary war on Christmas. A Presidential candidate has a message stating that during this time of year we should stop and celebrate Christmas, and everyone is up in arms because he is being exclusionary.

Not ALL liberals say there is an imaginary war on Christmas. We love it too. I would like to say Merry Christmas, Happy Hanuka, Happy Kwanzaa and if I knew the names of other holidays, I'd wish them too.
This is the HOLIDAY season. Can't we just enjoy the magic of it?

Who gives a crap. This is the holiday season and if you so called christian republicans were true Christians you would set aside your differences for one day and extend a merry Christmas to everybody no matter their political stance, color or religion instead of trying to instigate an argument.

Merry Christmas to everybody!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why all of a sudden we have a problem with Christmas .it has been celebrated in America for hundreds of years. I personally do not celebrate it as the Birth of Christ but as a day of Family. It has never bothered me to say or be wished Merry Christmas. I find it an endearment.
people need to thicken their skin a little more.

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND MAY PEACE BE WITH EACH OF YOU.

whatever. if he's not using taxpayer money to promote his religious message, then i really don't give a crap. he might offend some people who don't share his beliefs, since he is admonishing viewers of his ad to consider what "really matters" (his religion). seems a bit rude to me, but i'm not going to raise a fuss about something like that. i just won't vote for him... that's my "protest." people who are criticizing him, as reported in the story are on the right track, though... he's using his religion to get attention (and political support) from like-minded people ("yay! he loves jesus! i love jesus! i must vote for him!"). oh, and i thought it was the conservatives claiming there is a war on christmas... ("why is everybody criticizing us for promoting christmas? why do they hate christians? we must fight back!")....

I have no objection to the ad as being exclusionary. I do find it a bit offensive to use Christ's name in a political ad to gain votes. What's next invoking Christ to sell beer?
Merry Christmas!

No. It is not because he was being "exclusionary", he was obviously pandering to the Evangelicals. Him acting like he didn't know the book case in the background looked like a cross was really phony, he is just another Politician who is using the name of God to gain power.
