She has take a drug test for a job and is worried sick. She smoked about a week ago and it had been around a month since she last did it (she doesn't smoke often, just around once a month at the most). We bought an at home drug test and she passed it without drinking alot of water or any other change in her daily activity. She is worried that the lab testing is more sensitive than the store bought test.

Gee, maybe she'll get the idea that smoking joints is not a good idea.

If she doesn't smoke it that often and she has stopped smoking until she takes the test she will be fine. Have her drink lots of warm tea's and water. If you drink lots of water before the test that is fine too. I work at Labcorp, and do drug screens all the time. More than half the people in there drink water just because they get shy bladder and can't go when they are in that environment. Make sure she pees before she takes the test and has a full bladder when she gets there.

Well, generally weed stays in the system for about a month before completely leaving. And lab tests are more sensitive, as they pick up chemical combos that are not normal...versus looking for specific ones. And drinking water will not help...it will raise red flags because of the dilution of the urine (trust me, they look for that too). I think that she should hold off on the test, if possible. And stop smoking weed!

It depends on where she's applying. Some places have those tests which are not much at all. But if she'll put a drop of blood in it they can't read it. This worked for my cousin.
