Im a bodybuilder...ever since i have started i have been natural..no supplements what so ever..and i have gotten good results over time despite my lack of having good genetics......looking at bodybuilders(Pro) there is no doubt they are pumping HUGE amounts of steroids into their bodies...i always consider steroids cheating and ive seen alot/heard alot of negative things regarding steroids...but after doing alot of research it seems that steroids are only harmful when doing a large dosage on a continual basis...NO im not thinking about taking them..but it has made me wonder...If steroids were taking more cautiously and in ALOT lower dosage could average atheletes or even bodybuilders see an improvement without putting there health at that big a risk?Steroids are even used to treat some medical conditions..so in using them safely can they really b that harmful..as the over usage caused a negatvie stigma for this enhancing supplement?

You are very correct about few things.Everything what you do or take in proportions its safe. But once you starting over doing it this is where you get in big trouble.
The thing is and that is only for you to know, why you need that? Are you going to do a bodybuilding show,or just to show off.You need to know what is the reason you want to take it or even thinking about taking it.
What i would say is go safe way.Its so many pro hormones you can buy from legit supplement companys that you dont need to risk by ordering it and getting cough in the proces. And if you get it how do you know they are real. Its just not worht the time and effort you put in allready. But again this is my opinion about that.
And the other thing is its few sides of the story about taking it in the HUGE amounts.Yes again, some people do take a lot of it and yes this is true, but a lot of the bodybuilders dont need that at all.The biggest steroid in this sport is FOOD and REST and i bet you know that.
So if you want to the next level its much safer to do.Trust me i know that i have beed doing this for some time now ;)And got some guys and girls ready for a lets say few shows ;)

I hope it will help you.

Good luck

I am going to agree totally with lv consultant,, there is such a thing as safe steroid use,, if used properly the side effects are manageable and for the most part reversable.. I have personally taken several cycles ovet the past few years and have not had any serious negative effects,,
I always follow the upmost caution and care
I have reasonable length cycles,, 10 weeks
I use clean safe sterile equipment and am injected by a trained RN.
I go to the DR several times a year and have my cholestoral levels checked along with my liver values.
I take at least a 5 week break in between cycles, during which time i take clomid to help speed the recovery of my testes and my natural Testosterone.
I have had my Testosterone levels checked when im off cycle and completely clean to make sure that they are still within normal levels.
You really dont need to take large amounts to notice really nice gains, and the gains are easier to keep on moderate doses
If you take moderate doses for the right amount of time and take time off in between cycles then you will be able to manage the small side effects..
On my first cycle i took 300mgs of deca a week and 300 mgs of sustanon a week,, i gained 22 lbs in a 10 week period and after i shed the excess water and everything was able to keep 12lbs of that. I have had similar result each time and now I am happy with my size and take mainly small maintenece cycles to stay where im at

I believe the media puts a negative spin on pretty much everthing to do with steroids and only reports on the worst extreme cases. I personally know several people who have responsibly used them for years and had no serious lasting side effects.

Well, in order for you to body build and get enough proteins and enzymes and ATP to push the envelope, you need good cell food.

It took two peaches in 1950 to get enough beta carotene. Now it takes 53 this year of 2007.

You have to supplement with non toxic natural cell foods to help get the results you want.

Steroids are synthetics, and even low dosage in moderation can shut down your adrenal glands.

My friend is an accomplished bodybuilder who has done this without ANY anabolic steroids or drugs whatsoever. She also accomplished this with no meat, eggs or dairy.

She is a nutritional author, martial artist, and certified fitness trainer. She holds a Masters in Fitness Science, a Black Belt in Arjukanpo (5 combatant styles) and she is currently studying for her Ph.D. in Holistic Nutrition.

She learned about the medical and bio-chemical world from her father, the first bioanalyst in the State of California.

During her college years, she worked as a treatment nurse and medical transcriber for UCLA's Medical Center, and on occasion, she has volunteered her time assisting in autopsies at the L.A. City Coroners Office.

Her insatiable thirst for nutritional knowledge has been and always will be, what she terms as a "truth seeking journey."

I recommend you read her articles here: http://www.spice-of-life.com to improve upon your body building.

You can accomplish optimum results without steroid use. I've seen it with my own eyes with over 20 years experience. I also know that the governor of California was on dialysis at one point in his life due to his past steroid use.

first, there is a huge difference between "steroids" and "anabolic steroids". In order to get the enhancement from anabolic steroids, you have to use a large doseage, lower dosages do nothing at all. Anabolic steroids, create huge amounts of internal damage and throw off the natural balance of the body, causing serious health issues later in life.
Steroids on the other hand are usually prescribed in lower doses to effect anti-inflammatory reaction in the body, and are followed closely by a medical practitioner.
Anabolic steroids are illegal, the world over.

there is such a thing as safe steroid use. the side effects from anabolic and androgenic steroids are different and are mainly dose dependent.

my father and uncle both played pro football and I've been around bodybuilders and other pro athletes and steroids my entire life (almost 40 now). the side effects of steroids reported by the uneducated media are all worst case scenarios and are only seen in cases of long term ABUSE of AAS not the educated use of them.

Taking lower amounts will not result in large changes, in fact I'd be surprised if there were any changes at all.

I wouldn't recommend anybody taking anabolic steroids to grow muscle unless you don't care about the rather nasty side effects.

Im happy to hear you are doing it the right way. I do see them as cheating for people who use them (look at the baseball problems right now) and you never know whos using and who isnt. The issue I see isnt really with the health effects, but more of the financial motivation behind it. If a players gets a few extra years, a few more stats, it leads to more money for them. Thats what I see as the long ranNot to mention that when they didnt even test for them, so there was no deterrent.

As a steroid user myself: YES, they are safe. No side-effects at all. Blood tests are fine.

To all the people thinking otherwise, where is the evidence? Woops, there is none ;)

You know God gave us a mind and body. I don't see why we just don't let it go and see what man is really capable of. I remember Ben Johnson running the one hundred meters on the juice and it was amazing. If we have used our minds and found things that make us faster, more powerful, why not? No one thinks bad of an athlete that uses weights, diet and workouts to improve his or her performance. Why not drugs, and HGH? When you think about it, it is kinda the same thing.

You are doing it the right way. Besides the fact that steroid users are cheaters and losers in general, the health risks are great.
