I read years ago, that warts can't live without air, so you cover the wart with any non breathable tape, such as waterproof plaster or insulation tape, leave it on for a few days, then check it, if it is still there replace with new tape, it will eventually die and fall off, friends have tried this and it has worked. Moles are a different matter, they need to be checked and surgically removed.

This site also tells you about the suffocation method for warts.
You can also simply suffocate the wart by placing Elasterplast band aid over the area until it naturally comes off. It should take about three weeks for the warts to disappear completely.

Concerning warts, most drug stores sell these little kits that you can use to freeze them off for about $5. If you don't like the idea of doing this, then you can buy a special wart-killing solution and a pumice stone, which you can use to slowly kill and rub off your wart over a period of weeks. Or, you can get rid of them the old fashioned way and rip them out. Just be sure to get the roots or they will grow back.

There is no safe way to get rid of moles without a doctor's help, as they can contain dormant cancerous tissue that could become active if you try to cut them off or freeze them yourself. If you're really concerned, make an appointment with a dermatologist and he'll speak to you about getting rid of them.
