I am a huge Jeff Gordon fan, but I was just thinking how cool it would be if Dale Jr won in 2008 to go with his 88. What yall think?

I am also a huge Jeff Gordon fan, but I'm really hoping that Jr. does well with Hendrick. He should, he has the talent (just hasn't had the personal or technical support). I won't say he'll win a championship this year, but I think he'll do better (and a championship is now much more likely in his future).

I do not think either will win the championship. jr will be in the old number 25. Casey Mears moves to the team I fear will be good for Hendrick. The #5 car is a great team. they had a good driver in Kyle Busch, who I think is a better driver then Dale jr, But Casey is a lot calmer then Kyle. I think the chapionship will be between Johnson, Mears, Edwards, and Hamlin. I am a Jeremy Mayfield fan so its not like I am putting a favorite up there. Jeff will make the chase and do ok, but will wreck or blow an egine or two. Dale jr might make it, and he might not. he will be about te same this year. He will win the Budshoot out then one of the Talladega races, maybe Lowe's as well.

I can't wait to see what Junior does now that he will be in top notch equipment. I don't know what happened this past year - it was like he was snakebitten and everything he did bit him in the butt. I think he is among the best all around drivers in the series, but now it is time to put up or shut up. I'm a Junior fan, so I may be biased, but I think he is fully capable of winning a title. Now that he is out from under the DEI cloud, he should be able to let his driving do the talking.

We shall see. Daytona is only two months away...two months...two months...

I'm with ya 100%, go #88 in 08..that would be awesome..I'm glad he is going to be in the best equipment possible, and have a chance to get back in victory lane, and have a shot at making the chase, and win the championship..

Go Dale Jr & Hms in 2008..

If he doesn't win at HMS, what are the Jr fan's excuses going to be then. He may do better but i still don't see a championship as long as his teammates are Gordon & Johnson.

i think Jr. will have a much more successful year this year due to the amount of resources that rick hendrick will put into his car. just look at kyle busch last year, he was a pain in hendricks *** but rick still gave him everything he needed to win. which happens to be better than what any other team has to offer. i think as far as luck goes the 88 in 08 think has a nice ring to it but imagine if it was 08 in 08? i dont understand why Thresea Earndhardt didnt let him keep the 08 when he switched teams. i personally think that its that last thing she could have done to Jr. before he left that would allow her to be a thorn in his side

I'm sure Jr will have a better year in "08" and probably will win a race or two, but thats about it. I think it will be another guy with another team!!!!

Go Jeff Burton!!!
Go RCR!!!

in the process the confrence, he reported that he might prefer to take the #8 with him, yet he might depart that as much as Theresea. i be attentive to that Bud is going with him while he strikes next 3 hundred and sixty 5 days. i will purely think of the sponsors which would be battling to get him.

He can't do any worse than he did this year.... Hendricks will give him a HUGE advantage to win this year compared to others, Hendricks dominated every race this year combine that with junior's talent he has a legitimate shot of making the chase. As far as winning....It's hard to say, there's a lot of luck/teamwork that goes into it so you can't just say 'junior will win the cup.' Junior will for sure end his winless streak though.
