Would my insurance premium that I pay each month increase because I file claims that are not my fault. For example I have an expensive car and people like to slide there keys and scratch it so I file a claim about a keyed car about once every 2-3 months or when someone comes and parks behind me and hits me... If I file a claim a lil too often will my insurance go up even though its not my fault .... Im with Geico

Yes...and eventually they are going to cancel you because you are high risk. Stop filing claims for simple things like key scratches. Sometimes you can take it to a detail shop and have them buffed out. Try that first before you have to carry high risk insurance which may run you higher than your note.

Your premium can go up. You can also be canceled due to claims frequency.

If you keep having these problems and are filing claims every 2-3 months- then there may be a problem with where you are parking your car. That is unusual for you to have to file a claim every 2 months.

I suggest you start paying for the little hits out of pocket. Perhaps parking in the very back of the lot away from other cars would help as well.

If you are filing claims every 2 months - something does not smell right here.

Yes. Frequency Will definitely cause rates to go up -- until you are non-renewed.

i don't think so. that is what they are there for isn't it? i think that if it is more your fault then it will go up. but acts of vandals and such i don't think they would do that.
