Don Printninja AM (east coast), Not all religions have Gods, and even if they have, presuming God exist, their answers can be highly philosophical rational answers pertaining to the power of God. Many religious can get so elaborative that they outsmart scientific answers, but only presuming God exists. But never this question which is precisely " What is the purpose of our collective Existence as humans and as living organisms in general?" The answer would always be individualistic, unsatisfactory, and subjective both religiously and scientifically.

Religions are based on imaginary, unprovable entities (gods), so they can't answer anything rationally, let alone satisfactorily.

Science does well at answering most questions, but it runs into problems with ontology. Since we don't know for sure HOW everything came to be, we can't really understand why we are here, or if there is a purpose behind existence itself.

Why, in spite of all the things they see around them and look at their own body and how it works,,,Why people still believe there is no creator?

,,,how can they be so blind to the complex nature of everything,,,,are they fools? The bible says they are....common sense says they are.....it is amazing how they can actually believe they came from apes....or even worse,,,came from some primordial slime,,,that came from the sea....

I guess religion nor science can take into account a fool's ways. Scientists think they have the answer but they are just whistling in the wind...most religions don't follow the bible......so they are no help. You have to find the truth for yourself,,,don't depend on science or all these false religions for your answer...Seek truth and you will find it....on the day you seek for it with all your heart and soul....

The question you are looking for is

" how many licks does it take to get to the tootsie roll center of a tootsie roll pop"

This question is beyond the scope of BOTH religion and science.

"Why are we here?"

Though we all try to find a personal answer for the question I don't think anyone is ever truly satisfied.
