So that I could intially just leave her alone even though i still like her and want to be friends. Or does the fact that she has a bf ruin everything?

Be her friend. There's no reason you can't. If your intentions are to steal her away from her boyfriend, however, you should back off. But if you really just want to be her friend, go for it!

You just want to be friends?That can't do anything bad and the fact that she does have a bf doesnt change anything.Just go ahead and be friends with her! :P

Hi ofcourse you should ask her , and if her boyfriend cant let you two be friends he has serius selfesteem problems.
