She is the matriarch of our family. She never married and always took care of everyone, dozens and dozens of us. She still has her wits, watches football avidly, and likes to talk on the phone. My dad has been close to her for 60 years. She was better to him than his parents or other aunts. So it will be hard on him when she goes. Hard on everyone. She is the queen of the family.

I am so sorry that your aunt's health is failing. I will pray for her and for your family too. But, remember, now may be the time when she is very close to being in the presence of Jesus. How wonderful and exciting for her!

Oh how sad, i'm so sorry for you. I will pray that she goes silently and gently in her sleep. You will miss her greatly, but remember all the good times. She'll always be watching over you, like a guardian angel. Be there for your dad and support him. Best wishes to you and your family xx

Praying never did any good, but my thoughts are with you and your family, you have been very lucky to have such a person in your family, but sadly everything comes to an end.
Best wishes.

Our thoughts will be with you and she will be included in our Christmas blessing. We will pray for an easy passing when her time comes and that God will be waiting to greet her. I'm sure he will.

do both. spend time with her, send her a holiday card, send her letters, send her get well cards, etc. anything you can think of. and if youre religious you can prey.

try to comfort everyone, and if youre talking to someone who's going to go see her, tell them to send her your best wishes.

dying is part of life. that's one thing everyone is guarenteed on this planet. just spend as much time with her as possible before she goes and you wont have any regrets.
