For several days, at least, I haven't been able to think up as many ridiculous questions as I used to. If I pray real, real hard, will God email me some new ones?

If you truly want the Cure, pray to Robert Smith

All gods are a creation of the mind to help us, to over come the things we do not understand. ie: The Thunder God, the Volcano God, the Rain and Sun Gods. As we gain more knowledge so the these Gods drop out of contention. Buddha sat under a tree and J C went into the garden to be alone after the last supper, they were both meditators and they knew that it was the mind that cured the body. prayer is probably the placebo effect? This is not to change people's belief's because many people the world over, have created a need for them selves.

this is, in fact, something prayer, or meditation as we pagans like to call, can cure. get yourself somewhere you can relax [i.e. the ruins of madison square garden], breathe deeply, let the tension drain from snout to tail, and let your mind find the questions. but you must first overcome your craving for more and more ridiculous questions, you must succumb to the non-question, to the bland statement. only then will the ridiculous questions flow.

good luck, grasshopper... errrr... greenmonster.

The saints of comedians are St. Genesius and St. Vitus. (I looked them up in a book--I don't just know that offhand) Maybe you can invoke them. It would be boring without as many Zilla questions.

He'll e-mail them directly into your brain. Just make sure you're praying to the right COD.

Here is your answer to prayer...

"wassailing"

It has been completely ignored on this forum except for a recent answer I gave. It is my gift to you. Think of the possibilities!

I think your slump is already over. Asking if prayer can cure anything is pretty ridiculous.

You're just overwhelmed with the holiday season. After it's over, you'll be inspired to new heights.

Not unless you are His adopted child. Then when you are, you will not care about ridiculous questions. I would suggest that you pray for Him to come into your life. He won't unless you ask Him.
