I feel this would be a fun date for you and your girlfriend. Both of you go to the mall and choose something together. If you do not want to do that, then a Christmas plant or a box of good chocolates will be fine.....

The proper thing would be to get a nice gift. It doesn't have to be expensive, but something that shows you didn't stop by the gas station on the way to their house to pick up something.
Good parent gifts would be a nice bottle of wine, a bunch of flowers in a vase, Hickory Farms-type food basket.

Something they can share like box of chocolates, a bottle of wine, or send a Christmas centerpiece for the table. But check first with your girlfriend to make certain there are no allergies. Merry Christmas

You don't know them that well so I wouldn't go getting them anything personal or something for each of them. Maybe like a gift card, something to both of them. Even just flowers or bringing desert would be nice too. Any nice gesture they will like, but don't be over the top. A giftcard for like Starbucks is good but not a 100 dollar gift card for some nice fancy resturant. They might think you are trying to "buy" them. Good LucK!

Absolutely.
A bottle of wine, a bouquet of flowers or perhaps a box or tin of candies, a prepackaged cake or pie or even a fruit basket would be something to consider too. It doesn't have to be an extravagant gift but do not show up empty handed.

Absolutely! It doesn't have to be an expensive gift, maybe just some festive flowers for her mom and a bottle of wine for her dad. Just a little token thanking them for the invite.

Yes, a nice gift could be a nice poinsetta, a bottle of wine assuming your old enough to buy and they would drink it. Don't get them anything to personal since you haven't met them, but don't show up empty handed either.

You MUST absolutely give them a gift. If you are going to their home, you can bring flowers or dessert. If you are meeting in a restaurant, you can bring a cooking book perhaps.

Yes, maybe a nice fruit basket or floral centerpiece, these are "safe" gifts that everyone can appreciate, because you don't know if they drink wine or are dieting/diabetic and can't eat sweets like chocolates.
