And by "God" I mean any of the couple of thousand deities it might be. Not just yours.

If your answer is "God already knows where he came from" - how do YOU know that?

Well I just don't know Baddie. Limiting a God, a much higher form of life, to human boundaries though doesn't seem like a valid enough argument. Have energy and mass always existed?
What I do know is that we are the only lifeforms on This planet that wonder where we came from. No, I don't. I don't even know that! What do we know what other lifeforms are thinking?
It's too early in the morning for such questions honey, and I'll get back to you as soon as I've had my caffeine and nicotine breakfast.

No. The God that I believe in, the true God, knows where he came from because he is all knowing. Besides, he was always there. Even before anything else. I know because I believe in the one true God.

The whole idea of 'knowing' something entails remembering it, thinking about it, reflecting upon it, all of which entails the passing of time, and since said deity is supposedly not subject to the passage of time, it could not be said to 'know' or think or be aware of anything at all, and consequently could not be said to exist either.

The dictionary definiation of a monotheistic God is your only correct answer. I thought the concept of many gods died with primative peoples. You would think no one, with any type of intelligence, would think of God in any other way in this modern day and age.

Thinking about where God came from is like trying to think about space as never-ending. It just hurts the brain!
