I know underweight (BMI 18.5) is about 114 lbs for someone my height, but will I be too thin at 125 lbs. I'm 138 lbs, size 6-8 now. My mom thinks I would look good at 125, but my dad says I'll "disappear completely" at that weight

Don't go by standards or whatever your parents say...go by what you think will look right(that is if you don't have an eating disorder which would make you have a distorted perception of your body image)

125 is completely the right weight. i am 5'6 also. i weigh 130. i want to weigh 120, but i have to like starve to get there! so i just do what i can :)

Its what feels right for you. I was to thin at 157 at 5.7' My hip bones held up my pants. Talk to a dr. if your parents will agree. You dont want a eating issue.

I think that would be fine. As long as you're happy with what you see in the mirror, eat healthfully, and don't start seeing double, you should be A-Ok. :)
