The key is whether or not you are comfortable in your own body. The father is a wise man and sees the health as the primary concern. Mom, may want what she would like for the image. Seek council from more sources and don't become compulsive from a sight variant. For your age, 138 is a little heavy. Compromise and get to 130 and see how you like it.

the rule of thumb is 100 pounds for 5' tall, then add 5 pounds for every inch in height. at 5'6, 130 is right, but you seem to be able to carry extra weight. I'd LOVE to be size 6-8! (I'm 5'5.) if YOU like the way you look and feel good, then don't change for someone else, even your mother.

do no longer pay attention to CatWoman, she has no theory what shes speaking approximately. one hundred twenty five would be a good weight, yet 138 is healthful additionally. fairly with a extensive physique. you quite shouldn't pass under a hundred and twenty. whether it relies upon on how lots muscle you have, you won't would desire to unfastened something if all the load is muscle.

Don't go by standards or whatever your parents say...go by what you think will look right(that is if you don't have an eating disorder which would make you have a distorted perception of your body image)

I think that would be fine. As long as you're happy with what you see in the mirror, eat healthfully, and don't start seeing double, you should be A-Ok. :)
