I really need to get over this as I am anaemic and have infections so need to take antibiotics. Unfortunately, I am a skint student and a single parents, so cannot afford to pay. They dont treat this on the NHS. I am in Leeds in the UK and would need somewhere which is wheelchair accessible. I cant afford to pay, so perhaps a student would be able to assist me?
Does anyone else have this problem? How did you get treated?
Please help!

If it's any consolation, I'm afraid of taking meds too. However, I've established it's because I'm afraid of possible side effects, so the way I get around it best is to make sure the Dr knows that I'm scared and can clue me in to any possible side effects, and I make sure that I'm not alone when I take the first couple of doses. It's stressful and scary and I cry a lot, but it gets the job done.

If you can't afford a hypnotherapist or NLP practitioner, I'd suggest you try to get in touch with a national body for either of the above, to see if there is any way you could be used as a test subject for students. They'd be completely supervised, so they wouldn't be able to make any mistakes. If you live near Brighton, try googling Uncommon Knowledge who operate out of Brighton Uni (Falmer Campus) and do free sessions.

If you really can't face medicine, you could try going holistic. See a kinesiologist or maybe acupuncture or similar, and see if there's any way you can be treated holistically. If you're in the Brighton - Tunbridge Wells area, contact me.

Good luck, if you think I might be able to help at all, please get in touch xx

Lets see -

Take Medicine - get well.

Don't take Meds - Die.

Seems like an easy choice.

Your pharmacist would be the best place to get advice on how to get around this problem.

most medications are available now in liquid form, ask your pharmacists to give you liquid and mix it with juice or something.
