If you just put it on give her a bath to stop her from losing more. In the future you need to use a safe gentle flea medicine like Frontline or Advantage. Yes, they cost more, but they have less side effects and work longer.

Well of course discontinue any use of the product. Then I suggest a very mild soap bath, maybe with a sensitive skin shampoo for dogs to get all the product left on the skin off. Then since it may not be the product itself causing the patch but a skin allergy, check with a vet before applying any other flea product. If there is a rash contact a vet immediately and then take your pooch in if necessary.

you should take her to the groomers, get her shaved and use a less stronger med. PLUS this will help you know the fleas are actually gone, not hopefully dead between all that fur.

The hair will grow back, the last time I put Frontline on my cat he had a hairless patch that grew back. I had him into the vet for something else and all he said was, hmmmm.

stop using the med and just be careful with her fur and let it grow back

Check out other dogs of the same breed, stalk their owner then when they are not looking swap dogs. You get a new hound and lose the problem. You are a winner.
