Because my mom is taking care of her Grandson probably12 month or so.

yes you should if this is what needs to be done. and as for your mother takeing care of her grandson for how ever long doesn't mean she loves you any less.
so try not to feel left out.
and some times this can be easy said then done.if things bither you sit down and have a talk with your mother ! she can't help you and the way your feeling unless you talk to her, and by you not saying anything and not wanting to do well in school shes gone to think everything is okay with you with her takeing care of her grandson. if you are needing to make yourself feel better inside please" go to your mother and have that talk.
