Can the PS3 play HD-DVD as well as Blu-Ray?

Nope. These are two totally different technologies. Blu-ray is winning this war, though. It outsells HD 5:1.

No it can only play the Blu-Ray. It has a blue-ray drive, and the formats are different, so no it can not play HD-DVD

No way man! PS3 is Blu-Ray only. Let the war begin.
