obviously if you "join" you passed some sort of walking test. just kidding my dad served in the marines for 30 years..i love them...but you mean how many people get turned away??? probably not many...just don't smoke pot and you're a shoe in

That depends on what you mean by "join" - a lot of people get rejected the first time they talk to a recruiter. If you mean after they sign the papers then the numbers are I'm sure much lower - mostly medically disqualified.
