Not at my church. Every year, we have special prayers & services dedicated to Jesus. We have service three times a week & prayer everyday. God's presence is not limited to the church walls ~ We're always in full on worship. "Church" doesn't stop when we leave the House of God. ;^)

God Bless You!

Maybe because so many people go out of town. I go to an Apostolic church(Oneness Pentecostal) and we cancel sometimes. Its often due to the large number of people going out of town. Plus, we have alot of people who live quite a distance from the church. If the roads are real bad they won't come.

My pentecostal Assembly has MORE services on religious occasions. You must be mistaken,

Do you realize that we often gather at bigger "out of town" churches some times, on special days, like 'Good Friday'!?!

Perhaps that is what you noticed.

We car pool to the other city, not skip church.
