Isnt it logical to believe our spirits would go to the same place when we die?

Depends on whether you think that there is such thing as a spirit at all...

Your spirit is w/ God before you are born. That's why you don't remember. That is also why the Bible says. God knew you before you were conceived in your mother's womb. After we die our spirit will either go to Heaven or Hell.It depends on how we have chosen to live our life. Then we will be judged. We will be united w/ our bodies which will be made perfect and immortal. We will reside forever in either Heaven or Hell from that point on.
