The bible says he is described as an angel of light.
Or a master at deception. doesn't it also say that he controls the governments of the world?
So do the wicked angels divide up the countries and say you can rule here and I will rule there. and it is the wicked angels who cause wars. My people against your people? Kind of thing? or are humans really that cruel on their own?

The idea of Satan evolved over time within the Judeo-Christian religion. You should look into it in an objective way if you really REALLY want to know what the idea is all about. The idea of there being 2 opposing divine forces at work in the universe probably began with a Persian religion called Zorostrianism. Lore about angels and demons was absorbed into Judaism from Babylonian religion and then it carried over into Christianity and lore about angels and demons is mostly not found in the Christian form of the Bible but in apocryphal texts such as the Book of Enoch and in medieval theological and occult texts. The idea of Satan was most developed by the Church during the age of the Inquisition as a rationale to control, oppress, and exterminate persons they considered threats to society because they didn't "go with the program." Today, fundamentalist Christians, in turn, believe that anyone who does not share their specific point of view, must be in the strangle-hold of a demonic influence. Unfortunately for these fundies, the laws of the land preclude them from exterminating those threatening people who don't agree with them (like they did in the old days).

The "wicked angels" that divide up countries, etc. are not beings from another dimension; they are real self-serving people of power and influence who convince other real people that they should be in charge. Moral relativism, racism, ethnocentricity, uber nationalism, and (religious) fundamentalism and general intolerance--which are demonic aspects of human nature--cause strife in the world. The process that causes a person to conveniently blame these things on a supernatural being and to see it as a problem that arises "out there" in other people and not in one's self is truly the Great Deceiver and Adversary.

Heres how it works, its actually the humans to making the choices. But you have some countries whos leaders operate under satanic influences and some countries who are not. But yeah, some of the humans are that cruel on their own, the devil only suggest things to them. In the end it was a human choice to go to war with another country

The wicked angels you talk about are more accurately called demons I believe, and they don't control seperate countries, Satan is the ruler of the world it says in the Bible. War is the result of sin, which happened once Satan left heaven. I know that probably doesn't answer your question, but it makes sense to me.

People are that cruel on their own. It has to do with pack mentalities, by defining one's own group as an extension of theirself, and always pursuing their own self-interest, whether it is on a personal or group level.

As for Satan deceiving us into believing that he does not exist....would us knowing verifiably that he does exist make it, due to his deceptive nature, the case that he actually does not exist? The problem is that, due to that line of thought, he cannot be proven or disproven either way...

How easy is it to blame a mythological creature that doesn't exist? People ARE that cruel, but they are also THAT good as well. It's a shame too few people point out what's good in the world.

Satan is called "The Prince of this World", which means that he can control many things, including the governments. He controls through desire: I want this; I want that. Cruelty amongst humans towards other humans is the result of the fall, and sin entering the world.

PS: I don't remember any place in the Bible where it says that the earth is flat. Don't know how that fits in.

Kind of like playing chess with human lives.
they are super human spirit persons so probably yes they do.
We are just pawns in this giant game of spirit persons decideing who should live and who should die.
When the game is over the winners get to live.

All people are cruel own their own and it doesn't take much temptation to get us sin, there is not one who has not sinned, with the exception of Mary and Jesus of course.
There exists both good and evil and a good thing to remember is that"where sin abounds grace abounds all the more" Augustine.

Satan is utterly wicked and pure evil. Of course he presents himself like an "angel of light", but he isn't.
He controls heavens one & two, but not the third heaven, He fell from the third heaven.

Satan is very real, infact, he is my master. I love him with all my heart. If you are wise, you too will give your self to him. Fore only through the dark lord can you find true happyness.
