Is there a term, or terms, for people who believe fully in a religion (any religion) but disagree with it?
For instance, if someone accept that Christianity is truth, and fully believe in God, Moses, Jesus, etc - but for some reason chooses to dislike those they are supposed to worship? I don't mean if someone worships the Devil, just simply a rejection of religious convention on grounds of morality rather than disbelief?

anyone who answers this question insultingly, or doesn't answer at all, will be reported. I have reported 4 already, and furgetab is only excepted as he at least sounds sincere.
Just to remind all time wasters, religious bigots and buffoons in general, don't waste my time or your 'answer" will be wiped.

Yes, and you hit on the main question.
You can say Jesus existed and believe in it, but disagree with the religions that claim to represent him. In fact, that seem to be the case these days... Right Tradition, but wrong interpretation.
This resource will support your excellent point.

Your question simply imploded upon itself.
You cannot accept a religion and then decide you don't like who you worship. At that point you have rejected that religion.
I believe in the Messiah, but I reject the institution of the church, and pretty much everything they have to say. Men will lead you astray every time, so stick to the Scriptures. It's the RED words that matter, if you're truly searching.

Not enough details. The core of Christianity is the forgiveness of sins via the cross with Jesus as Lord and Savior of your life. The rest is just walking in His love and study His Word.
If you do not love Jesus or God, then there is 100% assurance that your mind has been poisoned to think as such by a cult or philosophy. To believe on Jesus as Lord and Savior is predicated on your love. You love Him because He first loved you. Remember 1 Corinthians 16:22...
If anyone does not love the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be accursed.

they're called "heretics" by their own religion. in fact, that's a good definition of "heretic" -- someone who rejects part of, or embraces teachings outside of, their own religion
for example, a trinitarian Christian might call a unitarian Christian a heretic (and vis-versa) but not a member of a different religion altogether (the word for someone outside their own religion is "heathen")

In the Hindu tradition this is called "virodha bhakti" - reverse devotion. Generally it means someone who hates a deity so much they do not stop thinking of that deity and they realize enlightenment. The conversion of Saul (Paul) is a good example of this in Christianity.

If you would let Jesus in your heart you could never hate him because he is pure love. What greater gift could anyone give but his life for you. I pray you will someday you would feel the joy Jesus can give you, so that you would pray for those that didn't have that joy, you were having. It's great to share.

The only answer is that You'll go to Hell.
Sorry to be so blunt, but that's what the Bible says.
You have to Love God with all your Heart, Soul, and Strength.

So you are saying what if you are a Christian but you dislike Jesus? Is that what you are saying here? That's what it sounds like but it doesn't make sense.
