how can you tell and what kind of feelings do you usually have towards the person i.e what makes them different to other guys or girls you have liked?

Usually it's just this right away feeling of comfort when you're with that person or talking wih the person and the ease of the conversation, if you can sit and talk with a person for hours, laughing and joking with them and can even be comfortable in the silences that may happen, that's a real connection.

Yes but it takes a different amount of time for everyone. Don't feel pressured by thinking that you can tell right when you meet someone-that is not allways true. Once you get to know the person you know you have chemistry if you start to really feel comfortable in yourself when your around them. If you feel something inside of you, that just lets you know that you like this person.

Usually you can just tell- things flow naturally between you the boy...and you don't try to be someone else, and you find yourself analyzing every word they say. It's different from the others because you're more comfortable with them. When you are home for the weekend or away from them, you find yourself thinking about them or playing pretend conversations in your head. Also, separating them from normal crushes, you won't automatically think, "God, they're hot." You will think about how nice they are to you and how much you enjoy being with them. That's chemistry. I'm not really sure I'm havign the same problem right now and I'm not completely positive but I guess you just kinda know when its the right person ya know...like when you can talk to them really easily without caring what anyone else thinks or act however you want when you can just be yourself and they act like themselves it just seems perfect...

if your happy to see this person and when you see each other you both smile and feel at peace around each other. and you can be yourself and your heart beats faster as you look into each others eyes in short if you feel loved and feel comfortable and all the above around this person you have something special that is how you should feel

When my GF and I met, It was lust at first sight....
we were both ready to shed clothes....
Luckily sense prevailed.. and we waited... a few hours.
My BF and I have a different sort of chemistry, we were friends first.....and for quite along time afterwards ...before anything happened...

you find yourself telling them thing you wouldnt tell other people like your secrets or how you feel about certain subjects. And if you think about what your going to say to them next shows you care what they think, which is good

Yeah you can!
if they make you smile when you think about them or you laugh at the dumb things.
every time you spend with them is heaven.
they make you feel so happy.
you get jealous when other girl/boys hug them.
