We can build ten times larger stuff than the Egyptians in one tenth of the time. The Three Gorges Dam has ten times the volume of the Great Pyramid. No big deal.

But why on Earth would you want to waste that much material for? Do you believe in the same afterlife as the ancient Egyptians? Hardly.

Oh we certainly do have technological means to construct the pyramids. A couple industrial sized cranes would go a long way.

What you read may have meant we don't know how to build the pyramids the same way the Egyptians did.

1 - Because no one has any reason or a couple of "billion dollars" laying around to show others I can do it too.

2 - Wooope doo I did it now what do I do with it??

3 - Go to Las Vegas that one should be a big enough pyramid for any one to.
