It would probably be cheaper to just get some frontline topspot. Most vets will sell it to you one tube at a time. It runs about fifteen dollars a tube.

The ONLY thing that gets rid of fleas, flea eggs and flea larvae is a topical liquid like Frontline or Advantage.
You put this on back of the dog's neck every single month - end flea problem.

If she is really infested, you take her to the vet and get a pill called Capstar - that gets the fleas off within the hour - then you apply Frontline or Advantage and you re-apply that every month without fail - there will be no more fleas.

Please get that poor dog inside, it is plain animal abuse to have her outside all day, let alone in cold weather. You did not get a dog to lock her out I hope.

Clean up your house by washing all her bedding, vacuum your rugs and sofas, then throw away the bag.

That should solve your flea problems. Please, have a heart and some sense and get that dog Frontline or Advantage and let her in - she's supposed to be part of the family.

Flea shampoo, flea spray, flea collars, etc., don't work well, they just get rid of some adult fleas.
Frontline and Advantix keep all fleas off for a month.
I have 5 dogs of my own and rescue and never have fleas in the house because I use these products without fail, renewed monthly.

Please just get her some proper flea treatment and then you can let her in. There's no need for her to be outside and yes, she is likely to be ill if she's out in the cold, just as you would.

Flea shampoos do not get rid of fleas. Nothing you can buy in any store does, you need to pick up something from a vets like Frontline. The fleas will not make your kids ill. They may bite them, but putting the dog outside will not stop this, the fleas are in your house already - get a house spray too. Again, not from a pet store!!

It is not enough just to treat your dog for the fleas you will need to use a product to treat your house as well. Get some Indorex spray from your vet as well as the frontline to spray your carpets etc.

If your dog is still "digging" at herself either the stuff you used was no good (if it was from a pet shop it won't be) or he may have developed a flea allergy which is easily treated by regularly using the frontline.

Please bring the dog in it is not fair to leave her outside, she needs to be part of the family not stuck outside suffering with itchy skin on her own.

Thank you for not calling it it's "Designer" name....

Get Frontline or Advantix from your vet to put on the dog. You will also need to treat your house. You can try DIY Flea Bombs, but they don't usually work very well - The absolute best way is to call an exterminator and have them spray.

ROTTIES DO HAVE A TENDANCY to help, AND BE protecting OF extra beneficial than one guy or woman interior the living house carry. AND LABS tend to be the comparable way, yet extra PLAYFUL, and extra effective companions. i might inform you TO HAVE YOUR dad and mom look at A COLLIE, OR A ROTTIE LAB mixture, AS you're staring at. COLLIES ARE VERY dependable, and can be listening to canine FOR THE DEAF, AND SEEING canine FOR THE BLIND. they often BOND to 2 OR extra human beings.

Please don't leave a puppy outside in the winter! Like the others said go to your vet and he/she'll help you out. Bring her in as soon as possible, she could get sick.

go to the vet and get one of those monthly flee applications that they sell. they only cost about 15.00 US for a tube of it and it works like a charm.
