I found that out in the forces.
My Sergeant major had me taken away by 2 warrant officers to have it explained to me.
And the bottom line is that etiquette is the art of pretending to be something that you will never be.

The bottom line of etiquette is to be considerate of others.

Knowing that you are not the only person in the room, the world, the universe. It is one's ability to present self as a respectable individual who functions appropriately in the society.

Etiquette can be substituted with the word "courtesy"; basically the rules that dictate how people politely interact with each other on a formal/social level.

Etiquette is to abstention from acts which cause others inconvenience.
Etiquettes consists of beliefs,moral character and social conduct.
With absence of etiquettes there is corrupt behavioural attitudes.

How you behave - whether good or bad! But who is the judge? Some good etiquette is snobby nonsense and therefore bad - so basically it's what is generally accepted as correct in today's society.

It's a set of agreed rules that when put into practice you become appealing to people in the way that you behave within social circles.... the way you interact with others. That is basically what it is..

A big bunch or snobby standards that were made up by the snooty aristocrats.Etiquette bears no relevance in my life.The snobs can shove it where the sun don't shine.I hate all that class stuff.I don't need to be told how to have manners and decorum.Common sense does that for me.
