Im making a few different items to put in goodie baskets for Christmas Eve. How far in advance am I able to make the following items while having them still taste good and how should I store them? The items i am making are:
Choc. Chip cookies
Mint Fudge
Peppermint Breakaway
Candied Nuts
Peanut Butter Cookies
Snickerdoodles
and Choc. covered peanut butter balls
Even if you have an answer for just one of these items i would really appreciate it! Thanks!

as far as your cookies go, you could probably go ahead and bake the cookies and store them in an air tight container, that way they will not get stale and loose their flavors...

as for the nuts....I would say about the same thing...go ahead and make them and just store them in an air tight container...

the fudge you might want to make sometime this weekend just to be on the safe side.

I have never had peppermint breakaways but I would think that would be okay in an air tight container was well...

as for the peanut butter balls....those will be okay to make now and store in the refrigerator in an air tight container...they usually last for a while...

Bake them as soon as possible you make the dough, or they lose flavors or go stiff on ya. Then when done, put it in a cookie jar ( cookie jars are air-tight containers). Till you want to eat them.

Choc chip and peanut butter cookies are good for about a week, but if you put them in the freezer now you can take them out the morning of Christmas eve. I would think the choc covered peanut butter balls are a make it the day before item. I have no experience with the others.

That's a very nice variety. I would store the mint fudge and peanut butter balls in the fridge in an air tight container and the rest can stay out in plastic containers or be frozen. You can make them any time now. I made mine 2 weeks ago and froze them and I do this every year. They taste very fresh when you defrost them.
