I haven't quit smoking (never started) but friends have had success using sunflower seeds, cinnamon flavored toothpicks and exercise. Your doctor can prescribe you medication to help you quit.

Good luck! I'm so glad you've made the decision to quit.

start cutting back. one way is to leave your smokes or lighter at home or only allow yourself so many a day gradually cutting back. it is very hard to just quit no matter what you may try. cutting back and then setting a target date after you are down to less than 10 a day seems to be the easiest. brent

its weird but i carried a toothbrush and toothpaste around with me and every time i got the urge to smoke i would brush my teeth cuz nothing tastes worse after brushing ur teeth then smoking.its like using mouthwash then drinking orange juice..pretty disgusting. i did that until the cravings wore off and that was it...good luck

Get sugarless hard candy. Good luck, stopping smoking will not only extend your life, it will fatten up your wallet.
