Why was my cousin sexually molested?

God gave man free will. If a man follows the teachings of God, and does no wrong, he has been promised rewards in heaven. Some men have chosen to be"ignorant" and seek a lot of "rewards" here, and they don't care how they get it.

about your cousin. I'm so sorry to hear that happened. There are on this earth people who have lost their souls and seek to give pain to others to make themselves feel better. God had a reason even for that to happen (I was assaulted by a"family friend" when I was 5).Some times we never know why things happen, but God knows, and in the end, we all will understand.

I, too, was molested... I was only 11 years old when it happened.
I do not doubt God's plan for my life. Me being molested was a result of someone else's sin, not my own. While I would (obviously) have preferred it never happened, I've been able to help many girls in similar situations because of what I went through.

Yes God has a perfect plan about this universe and the life of all of God's creations.But God also has given us the perfect life guide since ,Zabur,Torakh,Bibel up to the last life guide Qur'an which have been given through Gabriel angel to the prophets..God has given us the free choice whether we would comply to the life guide or we betray it.But God has given us its consequencies for that in the eternal life after death heaven or hell..God has created also satans or iblises who will always tempt us along our lives.Someone who has weak faith can be easily tempted by satans so he/she will do bad doings such as crime,gambling,drug addicting,narcotics
stealing,killing,insulting,arrogant,invading,oppressing sexually abuse,adultery,kidnapping,cheating etc..Only the one who has the strong faith to Allah the only one God who can obey to the instructions and prohibitions of God and can not be tempted by satans.So much crime is not planned by God but by humans who can be easily tempted by satans.

It is unfortunate about your cousin, however people who commit crime usually have not accepted Jesus Christ as their savior. You have to accept Jesus in order to fully realize his plan. My heart goes out to victims of crime but if they survive, let God heal them and are willing, they can be a help to others who go through the same thing. That is part of God's plan also, that we help one another.

God allows each individual to live in or outside of His perfect plan, but in the end, His plan will be completed and evil and evildoers will be forever defeated.
If you are not operating within God's perfect plan for your life, then you are partly responsible for the evils that occur in this life. If everyone lived within the perfect plan of God for their life, there would be no evil in the world.

God works hard in our lives to keep us on the path that He's chosen for us but i the devil works just as hard and sometimes he wins. Your cousin did nothing wrong and I'm very sorry that your cousin was sexually molested. I can only imagine how awful that must be but I'm happy that they have you to care about them enough to ask questions like these.

God is a concept. That means god is simply an idea or a notion in the mind of mankind. This "god concept" cannot have any plan because concepts or ideas don't have plans - they are just ideas, notions - nothing more. There is crime because it is the nature of humans to do what they want even if there are laws against it. Sexual molestation happens because people don't understand or can't emphathise with other's feelings. If they did, no one would ever be molested or hurt in any way. What Jesus said was we should all love one another. That is true christianity. Worshiping Jesus, praising Jesus, shouting "Jesus, Jesus, Jesus" is basically worthless in this world if you don't understand what he was actually teaching. ----Atheist
