I am Pentecostal and I believe this.
The bible says that the dead in Christ shall rise first and those who remain shall be caught away to meet him in the air.

I am a muslim.I think there is a possibility that some christians believe dead people are dead and are no where and Christ will come to deliver them on.But some christians believe that there is an eternal life after death in line with Bible. In line with the holy Qur'an,after died, the angel will bring the soul to God and report it and then God will instruct angel to bring back the soul to the dead body for having a preliminary rewards or punishments in the alam barzah or waiting room before the final and fair judgement on resurrection day.On judgement day all humans and satans will be judged by God.Good humans will go to heaven and they get rewards and bad humans and all satans will go to hell and they get punishments. This religion who believe on those stated above is Islam.I believe it because I am a muslim.

I believe that when a person dies that they have their"judgement day" at that point, and they go to heaven, or to hell. I believe that the bodies we lay in the ground are just empty houses.

Jehovah Witnesses, Seventh Day Adventists, Iglesia ni Cristo, and Ang Dating Daan (Church of Christ International) all believe in annihilation. They believe at judgment there will be a reincarnation of the faithful.

I believe that the Christians who have passed on are in Heaven, but they can't fully experience it until the Rapture.

Heard it preached in a few places...I would be inclined to believe it since there is explanation for it in the New Testament...it's still basically a Christian doctrine...

Why do Atheists think there's no place to go after you die?
Is that called ignorance? Or just "Live for the Day?"

Most Xians would say no, but those who've taken theology courses and learned about "Sheol" would say yes, that's what the Bible teaches.
