Because we're evil and men are weak. What fun is being "good" anyway?

The Bible never states that women are evil. Unfortunately Eve was decieved by the serpent, but that does not make her all out evil she made a wrong choice and God forgave her and exiled her from the garden of Eden for her own salvation. Remember that Adam too ate of the tree of knolwedge and God forgave both of them. As for Ester, She did not reveal her true identity out of fear, in that time Jews were practically head hunted and if the king or anyone in the palace had known she was a Jew she probably would have been targeted. Delilah in my opinion was pretty bad BUT that does not make all women evil. Herods Daughter was not making good chouices either. So all in all there are some good and some bad but from these stories you have stated you cannot justify your statement that all women are evil thus posing the question ' how come God created them?' It is an inaccurate statement.

I don't know what Bible you are reading, but the King James Version of the Bible doesn't say anywhere in it that women are evil. My Bible says that God created woman to be an helpmeet for man.

Psalm 12:4 says: A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband: but she that maketh ashamed is as rottenness in his bones.

Esther did nothing evil by not revealing she was a Jew. And, look at what happened because of her! She saved the Jewish people from slaughter.

You have not read your Bible very carefully, from the examples given. Herod was evil in the first place, and he made a rash promise. Abraham was told by God to exile his first son, because his son by Sarah was to be his heir.

It's good to know you do read your Bible, but be more careful in your reading, and do the research to help you understand it more.

Cain killed his brother, several pharaohs kept the Hebrews enslaved for 400 years, Sennacherib was an evil warmonger king, Caiaphas organized a plot to kill Jesus....

Shall I continue???

What does this all prove - does it prove that men are evil? Not exactly, it just proves that men were evil.

Btw, although the Adam & Eve story is symbolic and not literal, still, let me shed a different light upon it... Eve may have tempted Adam, but Adam disobeyed . In Islamic teaching, both were blamed for disobeying God, not just Eve. Christianity blames Eve, and never blames Adam. What do they think, that Adam couldn't think for himself?

NOWHERE does it say in the Bible that women are evil. Rather, it says that women were created in the image of God, and that all of God's creation is good.

Women are not evil. The orchestrators of the bible under the watchful eye of the emporor Constantine, had to devalue women because most paigan religions previous to christianity showed women as god-like for being able to give life. And in order to develop Christ as the devine being (of which he was never thought of before the bible was written), woman had to be struck down as a devine creation. This may sound crazy but it is historical fact. Just start doing some homework and you will find this info. many places.

God also tells us that men are evil. This is why everyone has to reform. This is the reason we all need Jesus. Open your heart when reading the Bible. You will understand it much better if you do. Women do bad things, but oh so many examples of men doing bad things in the Bible as well. Nebucanezzar, Herod, the Antichrist, Pharoah, pharisees, Samson, Cain and even David sinned horribly. The Bible also praises and celebrates women. Look in the Song of Solomon. This book paints women in a glorious manner, focusing on Solomon's wife. look at Mother Mary, Mary Magdelene, Ruth , Elizabeth (John's mother I think this is her name) and more. God created everyone, and loves everyone. Isnt that awesome. I have made so many mistakes and I am only 19. God has taken me back, because He loves me. Wow.

Adam didn't protect his wife,
Moses was a murderer,
Noah was a drunk,
David was an adulterer and murderer,
Peter denied Christ three times,
Judah was out looking for a prostitute and ended up sleeping with his daughter in law
Joseph was a spoiled brat (and made sure his brothers knew daddy liked him better)

These are the facts ~ so the bible isn't so kind to men, either

Sorry - if you read the bible, Adam, *who was with her* ate of the tree.
let's go through the events
1) Eve and the serpant chatted
2) Eve at of the fruit
3) Adam *who was with her* ate of the fruit
4) *THEN* their eyes were opened
5) God asked Adam what HE was up to
6) Adam blames God and the woman
7) the woman blamed the serpant
8) the serpant didn't even bother

THAT is what the Christian bible says.

Adam let Eve get deceived so he could be comfortable, Esther's husband was wicked and Joined himself with an evil person who would have destroyed Israel, Sampson disobeyed God who told him not to marry a Philistine (Delilah) and Herod was Evil. Sarah put up with a lot from Abraham also and these are the facts. All people are sinful and in need of a saviour and in need of God's grace. Thing is will you receive it or die in pride and without the Grace God offers to you?

My friend, you are sadly misinformed. What did God say after He created man and woman in Genesis 1? What does it say in Genesis 1:31? Did God say what He created was bad? No!! It says "God saw all that he had made, and it was very GOOD. And there was evening, and there was morning—the sixth day." Consider that the very first person to encounter Jesus after the resurrection was a WOMAN. The blessed one (but not sinless one) to have the privilege of carrying our Lord Jesus in her womb for 9 months was a WOMAN. Rahab, the one who hid the spies in the land of Canaan (later on was praised by the writer of Hebrews for her faith) was a prostitute-- but more than that...she was a WOMAN. These are the facts.

First of all, it was Herod's niece who wanted John's head on a platter.

And it looks like Eve was tempted by Satan, who was a MALE. Plus, Sarah didn't tell Abe to exile his son. In fact, she pimped out her slave to Abraham bc she wasn't bearing children. And as for Samson and Delilah, if Samson was dumb enough to tell her the answer to his riddle, he deserved a haircut.

Wow, five bad women? Do you have any idea how many evil men there are in the bible? You forgot to mention the good women like Rahaab and Naomi. Whatever. The bible says that sin is in human nature. Not that women are bad.
