God gives us a free will means that God gives us a free choice to select our action whether we obey to all God's instructions and prihibitions or we betray it.God does not force us to obey it.But God has shown us in the last life guide Qur'an that if we do not obey it we will have sin and we will enter hell and be punished after death.Oppositely if we obey it we will enter heaven and be rewarded.

Does anyone control your actions? Or, do you decide what you want to do and when you want to do it? That is free will. When we are born, we are given free will do make up our own minds what we want to do. Except for our parents, no one can really tell us what to do.

God knows what is in our hearts, and he has a good idea what we want to do. He may not be able to say exactly what we will do, but he can make an educated guess. It's pretty much the same as our parents guessing what we plan to do, or even what we are doing when they aren't in the room watching us.

I don't believe that God can actually predict the future, any more than you and I can, but he has a good idea what is going to happen, based on what has happened in the past. You could say he can make an educated guess.

Now, this is what I believe. If you don't agree with it, that's fine with me.

He creates you, knowing what your entire life is going to consist of, and lets you do every activity freely without interfering (even though it can't really be considered free will if you are basically destined to do certain actions because God knows what they will be beforehand, meaning that you will have to do that action). And, he will punish for those free actions, even though he was fully aware that you would be doing them the entire time before you were even born, and that there was no way that your "free will" would deviate from that path.

It's a very limited freedom.

Can you explain free will and God being all knowing?
- Yes I can. You just have to take away man's innocence.

God is not ALL knowing, in that he does not know what a being with free will will do at every instant. That is why he tests people, "to know what" they would do.

Deuteronomy 8:2 -- And you shall remember that the Lord your God led you all the way these forty years in the wilderness, to humble you and test you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep His commandments or not.
{And many other such Scriptures}

Sometimes as a mother I have to let my child exercise his free will even though I know what the out come is going to be. God does the same with us. He lets us do what we want even when He knows it may not be the best thing for us.

This is to Sam,

GOD did not force Saul to become a follower of CHRIST. You are only half telling it, or maybe you don't know the rest. Saul was also the chief persecuter of the Christians. He murdered many just for the sake of them being a folower of Christ. If GOD was as you say, forcing him to become a believer, then why not just kill him as in an eye for an eye?
No Jesus asked him at that moment (which he used to humble him and show HE is in fact GOD) Saul, why do you persecute me?

See Below Acts 9:1-6

1 Then Saul, still breathing threats and murder against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest 2 and asked letters from him to the synagogues of Damascus, so that if he found any who were of the Way, whether men or women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem.
3 As he journeyed he came near Damascus, and suddenly a light shone around him from heaven. 4 Then he fell to the ground, and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?”
5 And he said, “Who are You, Lord?”
Then the Lord said, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.[a] It is hard for you to kick against the goads.”
6 So he, trembling and astonished, said, “Lord, what do You want me to do?”
Then the Lord said to him, “Arise and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.”

GOD showed mercy and forgiveness for Sauls actions, which is why Saul, who became Paul, was one of the largest contributers to spreading the Word of GOD. GOD does not need you, yet HE chooses to Love you, even when you deny HIS existence.!

How is it that at that precise moment Saul knew to call JESUS LORD? because the truth of JESUS refutes all lies of the devil that HE does not exist.

Free will does not exist for the believer. The child of God does the will of the Father. The carnal man exercises free will to do according to his own pleasures.

My theory is something like the internet. You start in one place but from that starting point you can end up in a million different places. Your free will allows you to make any choice you want without God influencing your decision. Doesn't mean he doesn't know where you're going to end up.

God knows what we are doing, what we have done, and what we will do. Free will-God allows us to make choices for oursleves. I think He knows whether we will accept Him already, but the choice is still ours. You can say He is psychic. Those two can exist at the same time if that is that is what you are concerned about.
