Well, while I'm not a guy, I'll give you the facts of my husbands. They went Memorial Day w/e on a whitewater rafting trip up to the New River in WV. One of the friends owns a Suburban so they all crammed into it. Took off Friday, drove all day, set up the tent at a campsite in Fayetteville WV, drank beer and enjoyed cooking out over the fire. Saturday they rafted all day and went out to dinner. Again a night of drinking. Sunday packed up and drove back all day.
All the boys went. My husband (groom), another friend getting married a few weeks before who wasn't planning on doing a bachelor party, Best man, 3 groomsmen, 2 ushers, and a couple of friends. I think there was 10 of them total.
They had a great time. Everyone was either off on Memorial Day w/e or had an easy time getting off. It was less than a month before our wedding. The river was running high and it was quite a rush--several class V rapids. Some of them had never done it before but they all enjoyed it a lot. Athletic things like that really suits our group of friends though so white water rafting was a great boys weekend.

I can tell you that my brother-in-law rented out the firehouse and they had a big party with drinking and poker and strippers.
Here's a little tip--ask the groom what he'd like to do before you start making plans...also ask both the bride and groom what their boundaries are and anything they would be totally against, because you'd be surprised how many couples fight over the bachelor party.
I know my husband hated his bachelor party and wished he never had one--it wasn't what he wanted to do at all!

You are never going to get a guy to type out the secrets of his bachelor party on a wedding site. If he does, he's braver than most. What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.

I can tell you that my husband went to Myrtle Beach with a bunch of his friends. They played golf all day and went out to bars and clubs at night. It was perfect for him because he loves golf.

My husband spent the day golfing with all his Buddies. Then the guys and us girls met up with them for dinner that evening.
